VTA Open Data

To further our transparency efforts, we're moving towards Open Data at VTA and looking for your feedback. What datasets would you like to see from VTA, and for what purposes? Submit and vote for your favorite ideas and we'll consider your suggestions. Open Data means making transit operations statistics, finances, and geospatial data accessible to software developers, apps and everyone in the community. Make walk/don't walk signals on by default

If these signs are always on, it can help drivers know when a light is about to change. It's already done downtown, but let's do it on other thoroughfares as well. It can also build trust if traffic lights are synchronized. (If you drive the speed limit then you clear every intersection with the same number of seconds remaining, etc.) That will reduce speeding.
